With the forecast function, it is possible to simulate which TWS applications and operations will be executed on a defined date or range of dates.
The integration of the VISUALjob for TWS flowchart and forecast function allows further TWS quality assurance assistance. TWS applications and operations that are due to run on the selected forecast date are clearly marked in the flowchart, while those that are not due to run are crossed-out in the graphical job flow. Just by looking at the graphic, it is possible to discover inconsistencies. The TWS forecast function within VISUALjob for TWS does not require z/OS mainframe resources or the execution of TWS trial plans. For maximum flexibility and fast response all calculations are performed on the VISUALjob for TWS client.
