TWS|easy Unload/Load

Unloading, Changing and Loading of all TWS for z/OS Base Resources

All actions of IBM´s Tivoli Workload Schedulers TWS for z/OS are based on the following base resources in the application databases:

  • application definitions
  • operator instructions
  • workstations
  • calendar
  • periods
  • JCL variable tables
  • special resources
  • ETT definitions

However, the standard functions of TWS for z/OS do not or only partially facilitate the unloading and loading of all these base resources. TWS|easy Unload/Load fills this gap in functionality.

With TWS|easy Unload/Load it is possible to unload all base resources, delete, perform various modifications and to reload them into the same or different TWS for z/OS. This can be done in batch or in online mode.

Advantage:

TWS|easy Unload/Load provides the necessary functionality to integrate TWS for z/OS with all associated base resources in a Production Life Cycle Management process, in a Change and Configuration management or in a Backup and Recovery concept.
