APS|ENTERprise - TWS|easy ADP

TWS|easy ADP

Defining and Planning of TWS for z/OS Applications.

Experienced as well as infrequent users of TWS for z/OS like to define and plan TWS for z/OS applications in an easy way. Depending on the complexity of the task it takes three to nine panels with the standard TWS for z/OS dialog.

TWS|easy ADP (Application Definition and Planning) is the solution for defining and planning standard TWS for z/OS applications easily, productively and clearly on one screen.

The  TWS|easy ADP Batch Processor facilitates the automated creation of TWS for z/OS applications and operations and their execution plan in batch. The number of JCLs, created with DB2- or IMS-Reorg tools, constantly changes depending on many variables. With the TWS|easy ADP Batch Processor JCLs can be put into TWS for z/OS dynamically and can be executed from there. Time consuming manual and recurring actions can be eliminated.

Advantages:

  • More productive definition and planning of TWS for z/OS applications
  • Easier for experienced users
  • Enables the infrequent user to use the advantages of TWS for z/OS
  • Automation of dynamic batch requests, for example DBs- or IMS-reorgs
  • No training required
