Essential Functions for TWS for z/OS

TWS|easy is a value added solution to TWS for z/OS providing a set of essential functions to make life with TWS for z/OS much easier and productive.    

TWS|easy Unload/Load: The Unload/Load component provides functions for the unloading, changing and loading of all TWS for z/OS base resources. 

Advantage: Easy integration of TWS for z/OS definitions in a Production Life Cycle Management process, in a Change and Configuration management or in a Backup and Recovery concept.    

TWS|easy Setup: The Setup component facilitates test and simulation of TWS for z/OS variables in the Job Control Language (JCL) in an easy way.   

Advantage: At last an easy and secure way to deal with TWS for z/OS  variables. Fills the gap in JCL quality management.  

TWS|easy ADP: The ADP (Application Definition and Planning) component offers the user of TWS for z/OS a considerably more productive method of defining and planning TWS for z/OS applications. Dynamic batch requests, which for example occur in DB2- or IMS-reorgs, can be ideally automated with the ADP Batch Processor. 

Advantage: More productive defining and planning of ad-hoc TWS for z/OS applications as well as the avoidance of manual work caused by recurring and dynamic batch requests, as for examle in DB2- or IMS-reorgs.   

TWS|easy Request: The Request component enables users without TWS for z/OS knowledge to order predefined batch runs under the control of a centralised or decentralised instance.

Advantage: Reduction of manual work due to ad-hoc job requests in the production planning process. Improved service levels for the users.
